BSNL mobile bill payment

In Tuticorin Municipal Corporation area BSNL mobile phone bills are accepted only at two points, the office of GM, BSNL, opposite Kamaraj Park and at the Telegraph Office, WGC Road. Customers residing at Muthiahpuram area, consisting of important pockets such as SPIC Nagar, TAC Nagar, Heavy Water Project Colony and Sundar Nagar are forced to go to Tuticorin town, which is about 10 km, to pay their bills. I, therefore, request the authorities concerned to authorise Muthiahpuram Post Office also for payment of BSNL mobile phone bills.

Open ATM centres soon

The State Bank of India ATM at Ambasamudram always remains busy as this is the only ATM in this region for all customers from surrounding towns like Alwarkurichi, Kallidaikurichi, Vickramasingapuram and other villages nearby. To ease congestion ATM centres have been constructed in Alwarkurichi and Vickramasingapuram and they are almost over, but are yet to start functioning. Hence, SBI customers of these regions expect the ATM be operated at the earliest.

Provide mobile charger socket

In south-bound trains especially in AC 2 tier coaches, mobile charger sockets are available at the toilet entry resulting in those who require charging blocking the way to toilet as well as discomfort to other passengers. Moreover there is a possibility of the luggage/ belongings of the passengers, when they are away, being stolen away. In view of the above mobile charger sockets may be provided near the seats as in other AC 3 tier coaches.

V. Kumar,

Thekkurichy, Kanyakumari district.
