Kancheepuram in both finals

TIRUVARUR: Kancheepuram entered the final in both the boys’ and girls’ sections of the State volleyball championship (senior) at Koradachery. Kancheepuram boys will meet Chennai in the final, while the girls take on host Tiruvarur.

The results (semifinals): Boys: Chennai bt Salem 25-21, 25-19, 25-17; Kancheepuram bt Coimbatore 25-20, 20-25, 19-25, 25-21, 15-8.

Girls: Tiruvarur bt Coimbatore 24-26, 26-24, 23-25, 25-15, 15-10; Kancheepuram bt Chennai 25-18, 25-20, 21-25, 31-29. — Principal Correspondent
