Gokul simply superb



Gokul Krishna.

CHENNAI: An unparalleled all-win streak (twelve wins in four rounds) by Chennai’s Gokul Krishna was the story of the fourth edition of the JK Junior Cup in the Formula Maruti class, which concluded at the Madras Motor Race Track at Irungaatukottai on Sunday.

The 21-year old Gokul, having won all the nine races in the earlier three rounds added three more to set a new record in the championship.

The results: Race1 (5 laps): 1. Gokul Krishna (06:37:786); 2. B. Paragjyothi; 3. Sarvesh Yechury. Race 2 (8 laps): 1. Gokul (10:04:049); 2. Paragjyothi; 3. K. Prashanth. Race 3 (8 laps): 1. Gokul (09:55:720); 2. Prashanth; 3. Paragjyothi.

Overall championship points: 1. Gokul (Team Wallace Sports) 110; 2. Prashanth (Team Rams Racing) 75; 3. Paragjyothi (Team Wallace Sports) 67; 4. Sarvesh (Team Wallace Sports) 33; 5. Karthik Krishna (Team Rams Racing) 31; Vikash Anand (Team Rams Racing) 31.
