Four meet records set

MYSORE: Four more meet marks were set on the second day of the State short course swimming championship at De Paul International Residential School pool here on Sunday.

Aditya Roshan continued his good run, setting a new meet record in 200m breaststroke at 2:31.44s. Madhavi Giri improved her own 100m backstroke record, clocking 1:10.55s. Madhavi also won the 200m breaststroke gold.

The two other records came in the girls Group II section, with T. Sneha of BAC winning the 50m freestyle in 28.47s and Prathima Kollali of KCR topping the 400m freestyle in 4:45.77s.

Bhoomi R. Motwani also dazzled in this section, winning three gold (200m individual medley, 400m individual medley and 100m breast strokes).
