Himani Savarkar questioned

Mumbai: The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad on Friday questioned Himani Savarkar, president of the Pune-based Abhinav Bharat, in connection with the Malegaon bomb blast. Calling the step part of “routine questioning,” an ATS source said it was about Abhinav Bharat.

Ms. Savarkar said she was questioned for around three-and-a-half hours. The ATS asked her about her association with the suspects, the organisation as a whole and her views on the blast. “I told them that they are innocent. They cannot do anything like that [blast].”
