Engineer robbed of Rs.50,000

NEW DELHI: An engineer was stabbed and robbed of Rs.50,000 by two men on a motorcycle at Dwarka here on Saturday.

Dinesh Kaushik withdrew the money from the Dwarka Sector 4 branch of a multi-national bank around noon and was returning home along with his daughter when the robbers struck. One of them attacked him with a sharp weapon, injuring him in the hand. The robbers, who were wearing helmets, snatched the bag containing the money and some important documents from him and sped away.

The police are trying to identify the culprits.
