Application for awards

CHENNAI: Science City has invited applications for the Tamil Nadu Young Women Scientist Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award for Women for 2008.

The Tamil Nadu Young Women Scientist Award is given to four scientists, aged below 40, who have done an exemplary work in various disciplines of science and technology. The Lifetime Achievement Award is given to a woman scientist above 60. The awards carry a cash prize and a citation.

Applications are available at the office of Science City, Planetarium Campus, Gandhi Mandapam Road. Forms can also be downloaded from www.sciencecitychennai.com. The last date is December 31. For details, contact 24454054/ 24454034.
