Woman relieved of gold chain

AMBUR: A woman was relieved of her five-sovereign gold chain at knife-point at Odukatoor near Ambur on Friday night. According to police, Lakshmikanthan (25), residing on Gounder Street at Melvaithangkuppam, and his wife Manju (20) were on their way to attend a function.

They were intercepted by two unidentified men near Odukatoor, who snatched Manju’s chain at knife-point and fled.
