KARAIKUDI: Good bowling performance by Leela (six for 10) enabled LNIPE score an eight-wicket win over Kerala in a pre-quarterfinal encounter of the South-West Zone inter-university cricket tournament for women here on Friday. The scores (pre-quarterfinals): Annamalai 126 for six in 30 overs (Logeshwari 50) bt Dr. H.S. Gour Vishwavidyalaya 71 in 23.1 overs. Kerala 69 in 24.1 overs (Leela six for 10, Kamini Bakshi three for 24) lost to LNIPE 70 for two in 29.3 overs. Jiwaji 69 for six in 30 overs lost to Calicut 70 for two in 25.1 overs (Jasmine 30 not out).
