Waves of pain engraved

AGONISING ART: December 26, 2004 was the day when the sea proved it had a gigantic appetite for human lives…Dead were thousands of people; but painfully alive are the memories which, flooding this anniversary day, have metastasised into a mammoth pain of mankind. By way of paying homage, students of Bharathiar Palkalai Koodam in Puducherry have translated the blistering wound into a sand sculpture bristling with pathos.
