Superb century by Anil

HARIPAD: A quick century by Anil (117 off 61 balls) enabled Legends CC, Kollam defeat Concord CC, Ambalapuzha by five wickets and enter the semifinals of the K.K.Sreenivasan memorial all-Kerala cricket tournament at the GBHSS ground here on Thursday.

Batting first, Concord CC rode on Arun’s century (108) to pile up 222 for three in its allotted 20 overs.

But Anil’s blitz ensured that Legends reached the target without much fuss.

The scores:

Concord CC, Ambalapuzha 222 for three in 20 overs (Arun 108, Vijesh 56, Chandu three for 36) lost to Legends CC, Kollam 228 for five in 18.2 overs (Anil 117)
