BHEL bags Bina power plant order

NEW DELHI: Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has bagged a Rs. 1,175 crore contract for setting up a 500 MW (2 x 250 MW) thermal power plant at Bina in Madhya Pradesh. The order has been placed by Jaypee Group company, Bina Power Company. BHEL’s scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of boilers, turbines and associated auxiliaries. — Special Correspondent
