Win for Rotary
HUBLI: Rotary School and St. Paul’s High School won their league matches on Thursday in KSCA U-16 inter-school cricket tournament at the Karnataka Gymkhana Ground in Hubli and SDM Dental College Ground in Dharwad respectively.
A century by Ramachandra Hegde and an all-round display by K. Tarun (62 and three for 18) helped Rotary School defeat St. Michael’s School by a margin of 163 runs.
The scores: Rotary School 312 for four in 40 overs (Ramachandra Hegde 145, K. Tarun 62) bt St. Michael’s School 149 in 35.3 overs.
St. Joseph’s School 130 in 28 overs (Alfaan six for 20) lost to St. Paul’s School 131 for two in 18.1 overs (M. Sushanth 67 not out).
