Car catches fire at airport

KOCHI: Tension gripped the Cochin International Airport during the early hours of Thursday when a car parked in front of the international departure terminal caught fire. Airport officials said that the incident took place at around 4 a.m. The fire was doused immediately by the fire unit of the airport. The reasons behind the incident were unknown. It happened during the hours of brisk passenger movement at the airport. The police took the driver of the car into custody. —A Correspondent
