Sharath Babu will lead the Andhra Cricket Association Central Zone u-25 team in the inter-zonal tournament which begins at the Loyola Public School grounds at Guntur from December 26. The team: G.V. Badminton tournamentGuntur will host an all-India junior major ranking badminton tournament for boys and girls in u-19, u-16, u-13 and u-10 sections from January 3 to 8, 2009, according to Andhra Pradesh Badminton Association secretary K.Ch. Punnaiah Choudary. He said the qualifying rounds would be conducted from January 3 to 5. “This is a selection tournament for the European circuit,” he added. — Principal Correspondent
