Inter-school football

ALUVA: The eighth Mar Athanasious Trophy all-India inter-school football tournament will be held at the Municipal Stadium here from Jan. 4 to 23. Sixteen teams will figure in the tournament. A mini tournament, a qualifying event for teams in and around Aluva, will also begin on January 1. The winner will qualify for the main tournament.

Olympian Shiny Wilson will inaugurate the main event. — Principal Correspondent
