MCC, HYCC in last four

HARIPAD: MCC (Malappuram) and HYCC (Haripad) moved into the semifinals of the K.K. Sreenivasan memorial all-Kerala cricket tournament here on Wednesday. In the quarterfinals, MCC defeated Yorkshire CC (Krishnapuram) by eight wickets and HYCC beat Shorts (Kayamkulam) by six wickets.

The results: Yorkshire CC 123 for nine in 30 overs lost to MCC (Malappuram) 124 for two in 24 overs (Nzyadh 79 n.o.); Shorts (Kayamkulam) 175 for nine in 30 overs lost to HYCC 176 for four in 24 overs (Rajeev George 96 n.o.).
