LATEST TRENDS: Coimbatore Collector V. Palanikumar visiting an automobile stall after inaugurating the five-day ‘The Hindu’ MetroPlus Lifestyle Show 2008 at CODISSIA Trade Fair Centre in Coimbatore on Wednesday.

Coimbatore: The MetroPlus Lifestyle Show kicked off at the CODISSIA Trade Fair grounds. It was inaugurated by district collector V. Palanikumar.

The exhibition, an annual affair conducted by The Hindu for the fourth consecutive year, will be on till December 28. The main sponsors for the event are Samsung and the co-sponsors are Viswa&Devji, Jansons, Jayaraj International, Sharptroniics and Sun Direct.

The exhibition showcases the latest in electronics, furniture, jewellery, automobile and household appliances. Textiles, handicrafts, decorative items and food stuff are the other attractions at the show.

The timing of the exhibition is from 10 a.m. to 8.30 p.m.

Entry is Rs. 20 and there is a free gift with every ticket.
