Jnanakshi team wins quiz contest School Notes

BANGALORE: Sri Jnanakshi Vidyaniketan hosted Enviro Quiz recently. It was organised in association with the Environment Association of Bangalore (EAB), an organisation established by a group of scientists, engineers and administrators of ISRO, to create awareness about the environment among students. Six teams vied for the top spot in the final round. The final had five rounds that included general awareness, audio-visual and rapid-fire. All the rounds posed a challenge to the cognitive abilities of participants. In the end, the team from the host school emerged victorious. The team from BET Convent was the first runner-up while the team from Baldwin Co-education Extension High School bagged the third place. The teams from Rajeshwari Vidyashala, New Horizon and Vidya Niketan Public School, Ullal, reached the final round.

Quizmasters K. Ganesh Raj and M.A. Paul from ISRO hosted the quiz. Secretary of SJV Hayagreevachar and administrator K.R. Dwarakanath were present.
