Elephants migrate

Nagercoil: Pachyderms, disturbed by the pilgrimage to Sabarimala, are increasingly making their way from forests in Kerala to those in Kanyakumari district, Forest Officer Sundar Raju said on Monday.

The elephants make their way to these forests through the Agasthya hills. The elephants usually return to Kerala after the Sabarimala season, he said. — PTI
