Exhibition of building materials in Dharwad

DHARWAD: The Forum of Consulting Civil Engineers (FCCE) and the Institution of Engineers (India), Dharwad local centre, have jointly organised a four-day exhibition of building construction materials and decorative materials in Dharwad from December 25 to 28.

In a press release issued here, president of FCCE, Dharwad, Sanjay Kabbur and other office-bearers said that objective of the exhibition, “Buildcore-2008”, was to make the public aware of materials commonly used by civil engineers and architects and the modern and cost-effective building materials that have entered the market recently. The exhibition would also help the public to know about best building practices followed in various parts of the country. It will be inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Darpan Jain on Thursday at 10.30 a.m.
