Facile win for IGM
CHENNAI: Indira Gandhi Memorial defeated Wesley HC 6-3 in a Chennai Hockey Association first division league match at Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium here on Saturday.
Vinoth Kumar, Saravanan (2), Thirugnanavalan, Dinakaran and Dayanidhi scored for Indira Gandhi Memorial while Kalaiarasan, Charles and Prakash found the target for the loser.
In another match, AGORC beat The Hindu 3-0. Sudalaimuthu, Gerald and Jaga Jeevan Ram sounded the boards.
