PG student ends life over ‘love affair’

HYDERABAD: Reportedly dejected over his lady love seeing another person, a student ended his life by hanging in his rented house at Amberpet on Monday.

Prem Kumar, 23, appealing to authorities to donate his eyes in a suicide note purportedly written by him, also urged that his lover be given stringent punishment for her ‘cheating act’. A first year student of M.Sc. in Siddartha College at Dilsukhnagar, Kumar from Kuravapadu village in Mahabubnagar district lives with his elder brother Rajashekhar and friend Ramchander at Premnagar in Amberpet. He used to take tuition classes for school students in the evening. Kumar returned from college around 3 p.m. and hanged himself, the police said after visiting his room. The students, who came for tuition classes, found their teacher’s body hanging from the ceiling fan.
