Industrial digest

The Bureau of Indian Standards held a meeting with the Coimbatore Wet Grinders Manufacturers’ Association recently. Varghese Joy, head of the Coimbatore Branch Office of the bureau called for collective technical efforts from the association to upgrade the national standards for wet grinders.

The Coir Board has invited applications for training programmes in coir industry and for coir artisans to be held at the National Coir Training and Design Centre in Kerala.
