Inspection

BANGALORE: The Drugs Control Department carried out inspections on 2,067 drug sales premises, 31 blood banks and 20 manufacturing units across the State in November. A Drug Control Department release said that over 329 show cause notices were served by the department for violations, 109 sales licences were suspended and 96 licences were cancelled. Fresh licences to 254 sales units were given.
