‘Give more powers to Lokayukta’

BANGALORE: The Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha has appealed to Governor Rameshwar Thakur to direct Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa to bring in an Act to give more powers to the Lokayukta. In a release, mahasabha State unit president Na. Subramanya Raju said corruption had reached its peak in the State“ The Lokayukta should be given more power to take stringent action against corrupt officials,” he said.
