Lions Club gets 100th pair of eyes

KUMBAKONAM: The Kumbakonam Lions Club has got 100 eye donations this year from July 1, 2008. The eye donation team, led by club president M.N. Barathan and K. Venkataraman, collected the 100th pair of eyes and sent them to Madurai Aravind Eye Bank.

District Governor of Lions Club C. Rajagopal, Region Chairman Kasi Balasubramanian and District Chairman (Eye Donations) V. Gopalakrishnan commended the club for this achievement.
