Coimbatore: Considering the rapid advances in the field of science happening every day, R. Duraisamy, Senior General Manager, Sakthi Auto Components, Erode, urged engineers to constantly keep updating their knowledge.

He was speaking at the valedictory function of the International Conference on Recent Trends in Materials and Mechanical Engineering held at Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology at Pollachi on Saturday.

He pointed out that by means of technology and cost the latest advancements have reached even the common man. Prof. C. Ramaswamy, Secretary, NIA Educational Institutions welcomed the gathering.
