Chennai Port Trust clarifies

CHENNAI: With reference to the news item “Chennai Port Trust Official arrested on graft charge” that appeared on page 8 on Sunday, the Chennai Port Trust clarified that the Port Health Officer is not an officer of the Chennai Port but functions under the Director-General of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
