One killed in motorcycle mishap

NEW DELHI: A young man was killed and his friend injured when an unknown vehicle hit their motorcycle at Vasant Kunj here on Saturday.

The accident took place around 10-45 p.m. on National Highway-8 when Pramod (25) and Tarun (25), both working with a firm in neighbouring Gurgaon, were on their way back to their house at Inderpuri.

They were rushed to a hospital where Pramod was declared dead on arrival. Tarun has been kept under observation.

The police have registered a case and are trying to identify the vehicle involved.
