BBC Gonicoppa wins title

Madikeri: BBC Gonicoppa defeated Shivaji Youth Club, Napoklu 3-2 via tie-breaker in the final of the Nestle Kodagu Cup hockey tournament held at Gonicoppa in the district on Sunday.

The regulation time and the extra time ended in goalless draw.

In the tie-break, Ponnanna, Nitin and Somanna scored for the winner, while Chittaranjan and Armugam scored for Shivaji Youth Club.
