Chennai: Parthiv Patel, resuming on 127, scored his maiden first class double hundred as Gujarat crawled to 382 for eight and stretched its first innings lead over Orissa to 220 on day three of the Ranji Trophy Super League match between the two sides at Bhubaneshwar. Jadeja strikesLeft-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja took seven wickets to send Hyderabad tumbling to 71 all out and defeat by 105 runs to Saurashtra at Rajkot. The visitors lasted just 26.5 overs. Saurashtra’s win left Delhi needing victory by an innings or 10 wickets against Rajasthan to have any hope of qualifying. Chopra sizzlesA double hundred from Akash Chopra and substantial contributions from Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli put Delhi 210 ahead with five wickets in hand, keeping the possibility of the bonus point alive.
