VCK sees bid to create rift in ties with Congress
Special Correspondent
CHENNAI: Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) leader Thol.Thirumavalavan has said that the incidents at Satyamurthy Bhavan showed that some persons were bent upon creating a rift between his party and the Congress and affect the DMK-led alliance.
In a statement, he said the VCK cadres should maintain peace and discipline and should not succumb to temptations.
With by-election to be held in the Thirumangalam Assembly constituency and general elections approaching, attempts were being made to create problems for the DMK-Congress-VCK alliance.
Mr.Thirumavalavan said that his party was aware that the cordial relations between the VCK and the Congress should not be affected.
