Breakthrough in two-wheeler lifting cases

Coimbatore: The special teams of the city police arrested two persons and resolved 11 cases of two-wheeler lifting reported in city and in Annur. The teams arrested S. Ramesh of Annur M. Suresh alias Ayyappan alias Manikandan of Singanallur. Based on their confession, the teams recovered 11 motor cycles worth Rs. 3.75 lakh stolen from Gandhipuram, Mettupalayam Road, NSR Road, Nanjappa Road, Cross Cut Road and Kongu Nadu Hospital area.

The arrested were remanded to judicial custody.
