Art exhibition and competition

COIMBATORE: As part of Coimbatore Vizha, “Ovia Sandhai,” an art market will be organised with an aim of bringing together artists.
The painting wills be displayed on the street for a day. Lalit Kalakshetra will co-ordinate the event to be held on January 11, 2009. Last date for submission of forms is December 30. For details, call 9842014569. A painting competition will also be organised for school and college students. The topics for the competition are “My Coimbatore” for school students and “Man Made Wonders of Coimbatore” for college students. The contest will be held for a week at all Lalit Kalakshetra centres.
