BJP plea on power cut

CHENNAI: Bharatiya Janata Party State president L. Ganesan on Saturday demanded that small-scale powerloom weavers, using one horsepower to five horsepower, be exempted from the scheme of 20 per cent power cut.

In a statement, he said the weavers were among those who were affected by the power cut scheme.
