Jayalalithaa’s charge

Special Correspondent

CHENNAI: AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa on Saturday accused the ruling DMK of instigating some people against her in connection with Siruthavur land grabbing issue when the matter was being probed by an inquiry commission.

In a statement here Ms Jayalalithaa said she had not bought any land in Siruthavur. “In 2006 itself I clarified this. I rented a house there,” she said. She also said no political party in Tamil Nadu was ready to align with the ruling DMK. “Its only ally is also thinking of leaving it,” she said.
