Drive to inculcate safety awareness among people

KOCHI: In connection with the National Safety Day celebrations, the Kerala chapter of the National Safety Council is organising a number of competitions to inculcate safety awareness in the minds of people of all walks of life.

The competitions are to be held for: industrial safety award for industries; best safety committee award for industries; safety performance award for industry; safety essay competition for industrial employees, school and college students and for general public; safety poem competition (open to all) and safety short story competition.

There will also be safety slogan writing; safety quiz competition; safety cartoon competition, safety elocution competition; suraksha award for journalists; and samoohya suraksha award.
