Two killed in road accidents

NEW DELHI: Two persons, including a teenaged boy, were killed in separate road accidents in the Capital on Friday.

Nineteen-year-old Dharmender Singh was on way to his school in Rohini Sector-16 around 9 a.m. when a truck hit him from behind on Bawana Road. Dharmender died on the spot. Some passers-by caught the truck driver Omprakash and handed him over to the police. In another accident, Narender Das (49) was killed when his motorcycle slipped and hit the central verge in the morning. He sustained serious head injuries and died on the spot.
