Ghei tied ninth, Jeev improves

BANGKOK: Jeev Milkha Singh shot two-under 70 to rise to tied 41st while Gaurav Ghei (70) continued to be the best-placed Indian at tied ninth after the second round of the Volvo Masters of Asia here on Friday.

While Ghei has a total of four-under 140, Jeev languishes in the bottom heap with two-over 146 at the Asian Tour’s season-ending event.

At the top, Singapore’s Lam Chih Bang shot six-under to total nine-under 135 and take the sole lead. — PTI
