Tech City basketball tournament

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An all-Kerala basketball tournament meant for institutional teams working at IT parks in the State will be conducted in Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi during January-March next year.

The tournament, an initiative of City Fives — one of the oldest basketball clubs in the State — will be an all-teams-play-all league affair in both the centres in the initial stage. The final stage will be competed by the winners and runners-up of both the preliminary leagues.

The tournament, according to City Fives secretary, P.C. Thomas, has already attracted entries from nine institutions. E-Com IT Lab will be the main sponsor of the tournament.
