He was inaugurating an education loan camp here on Friday. It would not be possible to form a sound economic system with borrowings. Need-based lifeStudents should develop a need-based life. Financial discipline was essential for the prosperity of the family and development of the country. Money should have a spin off effect. Students who borrow today should repay when they settled down so that the amount could be used to benefit more students, he said. Students should strive for success and develop selfless thoughts. Government had various responsibilities and catering to the needs of students was one. Youth were the future of the country and hence they should strive for success, he said. The camp was organised by Canara Bank, the district lead bank, in association with other banks. A similar event was held in Tirupur on Thursday and one would be held in Pollachi on Saturday.
