MRF pays 140 % final dividend

CHENNAI: MRF has achieved a higher total income of Rs. 5,756.35 crore for the year ended September 30, 2008 against Rs. 5,060.92 crore in the previous year. Exports accounted for Rs. 497.22 crore against Rs. 492.34 crore. The net profit after tax was Rs. 144.56 crore against Rs. 171.78 crore. The directors have recommended a final dividend of 140 per cent. With the two interim dividends of 30 per cent each paid earlier, aggregate dividend works out to 200 per cent same as previously.
