Motorist succumbs to injuries

A two-wheeler rider, who sustained injuries after falling down from the vehicle on the Tiruchi–Dindigul National Highway at Navalurkuttapattu in the district on Tuesday, succumbed on Wednesday. P. Karuppaiah (43) was going in a motorcycle towards Sannasipatti from Vannankoil when he fell into a roadside ditch and sustained injuries. He was admitted to the Government Hospital here. The Ramji Nagar police have registered a case.
