Krishnasamy acquitted in murder case
Special Correspondent
CHENNAI: A Chengalpattu court on Thursday acquitted K. Krishnasamy, founder president of the Puthiya Thamizhagam, in the case of murder of a quarry worker at Tirusulam in December 2005.
‘Attai’ Kannan, alias Madasamy, 38, was hacked to death by a group of men near the entrance of the Tirusula Nathar temple on December 5, 2005. The Pallavaram police, who investigated the murder, said the murder was a fallout of rivalry between two groups. The police filed a First Information Report, naming Mr. Krishnasamy and 13 others as accused.
