Southern lorry owners to join strike

CHENNAI: The Southern Lorry Owners Association will participate in the indefinite strike called by the All India Motor Transport Congress and the Tamil Nadu Lorry Owners Federation from midnight of December 19.

The strike is to urge the Centre to reduce the price of diesel by Rs.10 a litre and the toll collected in bridges in national highways. — Special Correspondent
