Held for stealing ATM money

CHENNAI: A suspect, who allegedly stole Rs. 2.5 lakh from the ATM premises of a nationalised bank, was arrested by the Kodungayur police here on Wednesday.
Police said the manager of the bank had lodged a complaint that the cash was found missing during a routine check.
Video footage
Video footage recorded in the ATM showed P. Selva Vinayaga Murthy (34) of Tiruvottriyur stealing the money from a cash box while bank staff were busy loading money into the ATM. Murthy was arrested and Rs. 2.25 lakh recovered from him. He was produced in a city court and remanded to judicial custody, police added.
