COIMBATORE: Nominations have been invited for conferment of United Writers’ Association (UWA) Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century Award.

According to a release, eminent journalists, academicians, educationists, professors, authors, artists, scientists, cultural ambassadors, entrepreneurs, Defence personnel, bankers, doctors, religious and community leaders who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their own fields and contributed abundantly to the betterment of society will be selected. The award is restricted to 100 outstanding individuals and will include a silver plaque and a certificate of commendation in tricolour.
