Women up in arms against terrorism

Chennai: Women of Vision, a voluntary organisation, organised a meeting on Wednesday to encourage women to debate and discuss how terrorism can be curbed.
About 200 participants attended the solidarity meeting against terrorism and drew up a resolution asking the government to provide better security measures in the country.

Habibullah Badsha stressed the importance of presenting a united front to protect the nation. Prominent persons from various fields including writer Sivashankari, M.J. Akbar, Rasheeda Bhagat, Geetha Madhavan and Robert Guruswamy addressed.
