Two children among five killed in accidents

NEW DELHI: Five persons, including two children, were killed in separate accidents in the Capital in the past 24 hours. Four of the these accidents involved Blueline buses.

Four-year-old Khushi, a student of a primary school, was run over by a speeding Blueline bus, plying between Mehrauli and Noida, around 11 a.m. The little girl was crossing the road outside her school when the accident took place. Similarly, Vimla (54) was run over by a chartered bus while she was on her way to work along with her colleague near Akshardham Temple around 10 a.m. Later in the day, a motorcyclist was hit by a speeding Blueline bus near Max Hospital in Saket around 10-30 p.m.

In another accident, two-year-old Arman was run over by a Blueline bus on Desh Bandu Gupta road late on Tuesday night . On Tuesday morning, a 45-year-old man was run over by a Blueline bus at Mangolpuri B-block bus stop.
